In the SSJE daily post, Br. Luke writes:
“God comes to us as a vulnerable human baby to an unlikely couple in an obscure place. And in doing so turns the world upside down …”
The mission of Saint Francis is to provide hope and healing to children and families.
SURPRISE!
That means you are meant to join in helping turn the world upside down.
Here’s what I mean, paraphrasing from Br. Luke:
God comes to us as a vulnerable human being (those served by Saint Francis) to an unlikely group of people (you and me) in Kansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Nebraska. When they meet, the old has a chance to give way to new … new life, new love, new hope, new healing.
